Ảnh minh họaLike National Flag and Anthem, National Emblem is the spiritual symbol which plays a great important role in the political, cultural and social life of a country. National Emblem of Vietnam was designed as a circle shape with red background, a yellow star in the centre surrounded by a sheaf of rice and a wheel symbolizing the alliance of workers, farmers and intellectuals - the core of Vietnam’s National United bloc. It has a close relationship with the magnanimous history of the country as well as with the glorious revolution led by Vietnam Communist Party; witnesses the grow up of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On 14th January 2006, Ministry of Posts & Telematics (MPT) issues the stampset: "50th Anniversary of National Emblem of Vietnam (1956 - 2006)" with 01 value of 1,000d.
